- Interface: It has two serial communication ports. The console port is in EIA – 232 – D DTE format, and the second port can be configured as EIA – 232 – D/EIA – 530 by the user. It is equipped with four 16 – or 32 – bit Industry Pack® ports, with one DMA channel per port. It has an optional SCSI bus interface with 32 – bit local bus burst DMA and an optional Ethernet transceiver interface with 32 – bit local bus DMA. There is also a 32 – pin PLCC EPROM socket.
- VMEbus Interface: It has a 32/D64 VMEbus master/slave interface with system controller functionality, supporting high – performance DMA and being compatible with VMEbus D64 and local bus memory burst cycles.
