This single-slot controller acts as the communication bridge between a PACSystems RX3i CPU and geographically distributed I/O racks. It supports seamless integration of both legacy Series 90-30 and current RX3i I/O modules, eliminating long analog wiring runs and allowing real-time data exchange at 10/100 Mbps.
