Functional Features
- Multi – channel Design: It has 8 channels of thermocouple input and 8 channels of control output, which allows users to monitor and control the temperature of multiple points simultaneously.
- Wide Range of Thermocouple Types Supported: Supports various thermocouple types such as J, K, T, E, R, S, and N, adapting to different temperature measurement requirements in industrial applications.
- High – precision Measurement and Control: Can provide a resolution of 12 – bit or 0.2°C, and can regulate the temperature in eight independent zones within ±1°C of the specified temperature.
- Control Modes: It can operate in both open – loop and closed – loop control modes. In the auto mode (closed – loop), it realizes a PID (Proportional – Integral – Derivative) temperature control, and each zone has a programmable PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) output with a duty cycle that can be adjusted according to the PID coefficients. In the manual mode (open – loop), each output channel also has a duty cycle similar to that in the auto mode.
- Self – diagnosis Function: The status is displayed through LED indicators, which can help users quickly detect the operating status of the module and potential faults.
Application Scenarios
- Manufacturing Industry: Used in various manufacturing processes that require precise temperature control, such as metal processing, plastic molding, and electronics manufacturing.
- Petrochemical Industry: Applied in petrochemical production processes to control the temperature of reactors, distillation columns, and other equipment.
- Food and Beverage Industry: Used for temperature control in food processing, such as baking, brewing, and cold storage.
- Pharmaceutical Industry: Crucial for maintaining the proper temperature in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including drug synthesis, drying, and storage.
- Environmental Temperature Control: Can be used in environmental control systems, such as climate – controlled chambers and greenhouses, to ensure optimal temperature conditions.
