Functional Features:
- Multiple Communication Interfaces: It has one RS – 232 RJ – 11 serial port as the station manager port, one RS – 485 15 – pin D – type serial port as the software loader port, and one AAUI port as the network port.
- Client – Server Functionality: Supports both client and server operations. It can act as a client to communicate with other PLCs with Ethernet interfaces through the ladder program and the Comm Req function block. As a server, it can respond to requests from other devices, and it supports up to 16 server connections.
- Diagnostic and Maintenance Functions: The module is equipped with LED indicators (OK, LAN, SER, and STAT) to monitor the operation of each port and the module status. There is also a restart button on the module, which can be used for functions such as running an LED test, restarting and reloading, and entering the maintenance utility.
