II. Functional Features

1. Integrated Functions
   • It is an intelligent electronic device integrating control, protection, and monitoring. The powerful protection functions, flexible protection configurations, and expandable hardware design can meet specific user requirements.
2. Protection Functions
   • Offers a wide range of protection functions such as instantaneous phase and earth over – current protection, four – stage time – delayed phase and earth over – current protection (with or without direction), thermal overload protection, two – stage under – voltage and over – voltage protection, etc. These functions fully meet user application needs.
   • Has circuit breaker failure protection functions, even applicable to a complete string in a breaker – and – a – half wiring.
   • Single – phase, two – phase, and three – phase reclosing with priority circuits for multi – breaker wiring, combined with synchronism detection for fast or slow reclosing.
3. Control Features
   • Can control different types of switchgear and configurations. For example, it can control up to 6 feeder bays and up to 30 controllable devices.
   • Adopts the principle of “select first, then execute” for control functions to ensure the highest reliability.
   • Has electrical interlock functions applicable to all conventional wiring methods.
   • The同期检查功能 can lock out switches during single – fault events in the primary system, and the fault recording and fault closing functions are also available. The ranging function enables independent post – fault analysis.
   • Capable of two – way transmission of 6×32 remote trip and digital signals between selected measurement, control, and protection devices within the station or between adjacent substations.
4. Monitoring Features
   • Equipped with a large HMI for local control and immediate access to important data such as settings, events, and interference information.
   • High – performance data processing allows real – time collection, analysis, and storage of power system operation data.
5. Communication and Configuration
   • Supports multiple communication protocols like IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3, Profibus, etc., enabling seamless integration with other systems and remote monitoring and control.
   • Customizable REC670 allows free selection of functions according to needs. Pre – configured models simplify operations as basic functions are included and pre – set. Optional functions can be added easily to meet specific substation requirements.
   • Graphical advanced logic programming can implement special user – defined logic, and graphical tools ensure easy inspection and debugging of these logics.

1. Power System
   • Ideal for substation automation systems, power plants, and transmission line monitoring and management in the power industry. It can control any primary equipment at the highest voltage levels and for any wiring method, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the power system.
   • Suitable for power systems with series compensation or HVDC transmission, preventing power failures by monitoring and controlling intervals between devices like circuit breakers and disconnectors.
